A passionate traveler and promoter of Italian cuisine and culture, born in Milan, I escaped my native city in 2006 to live in Lecco with my family and Irish husband. “Life is only travelled once, today’s moments becomes tomorrow’s memories. Enjoy every moment, good or bad, because the gift of life is life itself”. Open to new culinary experiences, from roasted insects in Bangkok’s Khao San Road, crocodile steaks or fried Vietnamese snake, to raw fish in the most remote islands in Fiji, I’ll try anything rather than say no. It really all began in April 2012 after my trip to Vietnam, during which I experienced an exhilarating food tour of Ho Chi Minh city by motorbike. Back to Lecco, describing enthusiastically my Vietnam experience to Laura, we decided to join forces to provide a similar experience for travellers passing through Italy and in particular Lake Como. A new style of travel experience: showing visitors the wonderful place we were living in and offering an alternative way to familiarise with the town through an off the beaten path food and cultural experience - a series of tours revealing Lake hidden gems.
