Best Destinations of the Season

Autumn is now in full swing, with cooler mornings, colder nights and shorter days waving good-bye to the summer just past. Honestly, it’s refreshing, to wear a sweater and sip hot coffee without breaking a sweat. The sun is still shining and everything is becoming that little bit more colorful and vibrant. There’s nothing like the sound of leaves crunching beneath your feet like little sirens letting you know winter is on the way... But not yet! No, now is the time to plan a trip, explore and enjoy all of the magical foods autumn brings with it. The weather is milder, tourists have flocked home like migrating birds and you’re free to explore all corners of the world.

Here are our favorite Autumn destinations we think you’ll love:

India

Why? Autumn brings with it a cooler climate (by Indian standards) and a slower pace making it the perfect time to visit sans tourists.

Where? Rajasthan to explore the desert regions and Udaipur for a romantic getaway.

What’s Happening? Diwali, the festival of lights Oct 28 - Nov 1, 2016. Spanning 5 days, the biggest celebration comes on the third day (Oct 30) where the victory of light over darkness is celebrated with the lighting of candles and lamps, decorating of homes, beautiful costumes and the giving of gifts.

Where? Tel-Aviv, The Negev Desert & The Dead Sea.

What’s Happening? Tel-Aviv, a city that rivals Manhattan and London is the urban hub of Israel. The heart of the culinary, cultural and nightlife scene, Tel-Aviv truly is a 24-hour city with so much to offer. With beaches spanning the entire length of the city, you can enjoy the sun, sand and cosmopolitan vibe of the city.
